BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's soccer team looks to bounce back from Saturday's tough 1-0 loss at American when it welcomes intrastate rival La Salle to the Ulrich Sports Complex on Monday. The Mountain Hawks will look to gain momentum heading into their Patriot League showdown with Bucknell on Friday night.

Lehigh outshot American 14-9 on Saturday, but the Eagles scored the game's only goal to take the Patriot League opener. Senior Murphee Greeley led the team with four shots, including hitting a crossbar early on while sophomore goalie Ani Nahapetian stopped three-of-four shots sent her way.

La Salle has made two straight NCAA Tournament appearances and enters Monday with a 6-2 record. The two losses are to top programs Penn State and UConn while the Explorers most recently beat new Patriot League member Loyola (4-0) and Villanova (1-0). La Salle lost a 1-0 double overtime final to UConn on Thursday.

Kelsey Haycock leads the Explorers with seven goals and 16 points. Renee Washington has posted four goals (and eight points), Anna Dolhansky seven (two goals, three assists) and Maryam Huseini five (team-leading five assists).

La Salle leads the all-time series, 7-6-1. Lehigh's last victory came in 2010 (3-1) while the Explorers have won the last two meetings by 1-0 and 3-2 finals, respectively.

Following Monday's game, the Mountain Hawks remain home to host league foe Bucknell on Friday at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
