Lehigh After Dark's "Climb For Time" Event Was A Success!

Lehigh After Dark's "Climb For Time" event was a success.
The week of February 25th to March 1st, the 10th anniversary of the Lane Challenge Climbing Wall was commemorated in Taylor Gymnasium. Throughout the week students got involved in various themed activities leading up to the grand finale on Friday March 1st. The daily themed events throughout the week included:
• Free beginner rock climbing class
• Slack lining class
• Blind-folded rock climbing/team building exercise
• Speed climbing competition.
• Grand Finale "Climb for Time" Event

The late night event on Friday March 1st attracted over 35 students to participate in climbing activities and enjoy food, prizes, and fun. Each student who participated teamed up and recorded their efforts for the fastest time working together with a partner getting up and down the wall. First and second place winners were given a commemorative t-shirt of the event. Staff working the event said it was a "great turnout, glad to see the support". Additionally during the "Lehigh After Dark" event students were able to use the multiple facilities offered at Taylor Gymnasium such as the pool, fitness center, basketball and squash courts.
