BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh volleyball team will host two Patriot League matchups this weekend as the Mountain Hawks welcome Holy Cross on Friday at 7 p.m. and Army on Saturday at 4 p.m. inside Leeman-Turner Arena. The Association of Student Alumni (ASA) and Student Senate will be hosting a "White-Out" at Friday's match against Holy Cross and fans are encouraged to wear white. The match against the Black Knights will serve as Senior Day for the Mountain Hawks as Lehigh honors seniors Amanda Clark, Rachel Charles, Courtney McCutchan and Dana Raber.

The Mountain Hawks enter the weekend's slate after recording two wins in last weekend's matchups. Lehigh rallied to record a 3-2 comeback win over Lafayette in Easton on Friday night before toppling NJIT in straight sets on Saturday in Leeman-Turner Arena. Lehigh holds a 6-3 league record and 15-6 overall mark heading into the weekend.

Lehigh currently leads the nation in service aces, averaging 2.01 per set. Charles' average of 0.52 aces per set ranks ninth in the country and first in the Patriot League. Charles also leads the league in digs per set, averaging 4.76. The Mountain Hawks lead the Patriot League in assists with an average of 12.51 per set. Junior Jade Van Streepen's 3.34 kills per set average puts her in third place in the league, while sophomore Amy Matula sits in fourth place with 8.95 assists per set.

The Mountain Hawks will meet the Crusaders for the second time this season on Friday night. Lehigh swept Holy Cross in straight sets in the season's first meeting, limiting the Crusaders to just a .087 hitting percentage. Junior Kaylynn Genemaras led the way for the Mountain Hawks in the match, tallying nine kills, two aces and two total blocks.

Holy Cross will enter Friday's match on the heels of two 3-0 losses to Army in its most recent contests on Oct. 15 and Oct. 19. Natalie Welsch leads the team with 198 kills, followed by Katie McKernan with 115. McKernan has also tallied 520 assists, while Emily Popp has notched 321 digs.

The Mountain Hawks will be searching for their 12th straight win over the Crusaders on Friday. Lehigh leads the all-time series 33-11.

Lehigh will then face Army in a crucial Patriot League battle on Saturday at 4 p.m. The Black Knights only league loss of the season came at the hands of defending champion Colgate in a 3-1 match on Sept. 27. Army rides a six game winning streak and carries an 8-1 Patriot League record into the weekend. The Black Knights will stop in Lewisburg to play Bucknell on Friday night before heading to Bethlehem on Saturday.

In the first meeting of the season, Army topped Lehigh in a 3-2 heartbreaker on Sept. 20 in West Point. The Mountain Hawks led 2-1 before Army was able to rally and take a 29-27 set four victory and set up the fifth set. The Black Knights proved to have more stamina as they outlasted the Mountain Hawks to win the deciding set, 15-9, and grab the 3-2 victory.

Margaux Jarka leads the Black Knights with 220 kills, followed by freshman Olivia Fairfield with 214. Vanessa Edwards and Mary Vaccaro have split time as Army's setter, tallying 400 and 397 assists, respectively. Libero D.J. Phee leads the team with 334 digs.

Army leads the all-time series between the programs 33-11. The Black Knights have claimed the past 21 meetings.

A live broadcast will be available for both matches for free via the Patriot League Network. Live stats will also be available.

Following this weekend's contests, the Mountain Hawks will hit the road next Friday and Saturday to take on Navy and Loyola.
