BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Game time for the NCAA FCS second round playoff game between No. 6/6 Lehigh and No. 8/9 Towson has been set for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, the NCAA announced Tuesday. The contest, pitting the two-time defending Patriot League champions and the champions of the Colonial Athletic Association will be played at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md.

Lehigh enters its second straight postseason appearance at 10-1 overall and the Mountain Hawks have won their last nine games since suffering their only loss in overtime to New Hampshire on September 11. The Mountain Hawks posted their second straight undefeated Patriot League regular season en route to their tenth league title and ninth FCS playoff berth.

Led by Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, senior quarterback Chris Lum, Lehigh boasts an offense that ranks in the top five in both passing offense and total offense. Lum is also one of 20 candidates on the ballot for the Walter Payton Award, given to the outstanding player in the FCS.

Defensively, Lehigh has been one of the nation's top units over the last two months. The Mountain Hawks have allowed just under 12 points per game over their last seven games and currently rank in the top ten nationally in rushing defense and scoring defense.

Towson has enjoyed one of the more memorable turnaround seasons in recent years. Coming off a 1-10 campaign in 2010, the Tigers were picked last in the CAA but responded with a 9-2 season, including a 7-1 record in what is arguably the toughest football conference in the FCS. The Tigers are led by freshman tailback Terrance West, who leads the FCS in scoring with 27 touchdowns.

ESPN holds the television rights to the Division I Football Championship, and all FCS playoff games – including the Lehigh-Towson contest – can be vided online on ESPN3.
