Mountain Hawks wrap up action at Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's golf team completed its fall season Sunday as the Mountain Hawks concluded play at the Lehigh Invitational on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks followed up their 303 score from Saturday with a 309, to finish sixth in the eight team field at 612.
 
Senior Doug Marcincin led the way for the Mountain Hawks, shooting back to back rounds of 76 to tie for 13th overall at eight over par 152. Freshman Carlos Kim finished one shot behind Marcincin after shooting a Lehigh tournament low 74 on Sunday to tie for 17th at 153 (79-74). Others who competed for the Mountain Hawks included sophomore Alex DiClemente, who tied for 20th at 154 (75-79); sophomore Andrew Arnold, who shot 155 (75-80) to tie for 24th; and senior Tim Rosenhouse who shot 159 (77-82) to tie for 35th.
 
In addition, junior Sean Keller and freshman Zach Allinson competed as individuals, with Keller tying for 20th place at 154 (76-78) and Allinson finishing 41st at 163 (80, 83).
 
Seton Hall's Brandon Park fired a three under par 69 on Sunday to rally and earn medalist honors at 144 (75-69). Siena's Justin Deitz finished second, one shot behind Park, while Park's teammate Troy Spencer finished third at 146 (73-73).
 
The Pirates dominated the team race shooting a 296 on Saturday and a 290 on Sunday to post a 586, 20 strokes better than Colgate and Siena, who tied for second. Seton Hall players held three of the top four places and four of the top eight. Lafayette finished fourth at 607, followed by Fordham at 611 and the Mountain Hawks one shot behind the Rams.
Lehigh will return to the links in March to open their spring season.
