CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Lehigh football team will play its first NCAA FCS playoff game in six years on Saturday when the No. 18/19 Mountain Hawks battle No. 16/16 Northern Iowa. The Mountain Hawks arrived in Iowa Friday morning, held a walk-through in the afternoon at UNI-Dome and will make their final preparations for their showdown against the Panthers on Friday night.

The team and travel party departed the Lehigh Valley shortly before 9 a.m. and arrived in Waterloo, Iowa a little after 10:30 central time. After a short bus trip into Cedar Falls, Lehigh checked into its hotel and ate lunch before heading over to UNI-Dome for a 90-minute walkthrough. The Mountain Hawks became acquainted with playing in a domed stadium, but one thing Lehigh will have to wait until Saturday to experience is the heavy dose of crowd noise expected from what should be a sizeable pro-UNI crowd. Still, Lehigh head coach Andy Coen has been pleased with his team's preparation for this first round playoff clash.

“I feel really good about this team,” said Coen, who will coach his first game as a head coach on Saturday. “This team has been even keel ever since we won the championship. We we're even keel last week in practice to play Lafayette. We've kept our emotions in check. We had a better week of practice this week than last week. They appear to be focused on the trip so far and they're confident.”

Broadcast information for Saturday's game has also been finalized. The game will not be televised, but live video of the content will be streamed at NCAA.com. All four of Saturday's first round playoff games will be streamed live, for free at NCAA.com. A link to the video stream can be found by locating the NCAA interactive football bracket on NCAA.com and clicking on the Lehigh-UNI matchup. In addition to the NCAA.com video stream, Saturday's game can be heard in the Lehigh Valley on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 with Matt Kerr and Steve Lomangino on the call. An audio stream of Lehigh's radio broadcast can be heard for free at Lehighsports.com with streaming capabilities powered by Stretch Internet.
Saturday's game kicks off at noon CST from UNI-Dome. The winner of the Lehigh-UNI contest will visit No. 3 national seed Delaware on Saturday, December 4.
