BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh field hockey team looks to get back into the Patriot League Tournament race when it travels to Bucknell on Saturday to take on the Bison. It marks the final regular season road game for the Mountain Hawks, who look for their first league win of the season before returning home to face Lafayette and Holy Cross on consecutive Saturdays.
Despite losing its first two league games, Lehigh is only a game out of a postseason spot. With a win on Saturday, they would tie Bucknell for one of the Patriot League Tournament berths leading into a crucial two-game homestand. The top four teams qualify for the conference tournament.
Miller currently ranks fourth in the nation among active players with 324 career saves while fellow senior Lilia Stefaniwsky is 18th with 218. Miller has a .725 save percentage on the season while Stefaniwsky's stands at .706.
Juniors Caitlin Donnelly and Madison Ingal continue to pace Lehigh's offensive attack. They accounted for the squads two goals last weekend and remain tied for the team lead with six goals and 12 points. Donnelly now has all six of her goals over the last seven games.
Bucknell enters the weekend with a 5-8 overall record, 1-1 in the Patriot League. It defeated Holy Cross (2-0), while falling to Lafayette (4-2). The Bison are led by Kelly Bruvick with 16 points via six goals and four assists. Morgan Kauffman has 14 (six goals, two assists), Rachel Misko has 11 (five goals, one assist) and Tayler Siegrist has 10 (three goals, four assists). Sarah Zargarpour has started all 13 games in goal, posting a 2.02 GAA, .690 save percentage and four shutouts.
Lehigh leads the all-time series, 21-14-1. The Bison have been victorious in each of the past two seasons, but by only a single goal. Overall, the teams have split the last six meetings with Lehigh recently winning two straight, including its last victory in 2007, which came in overtime.

After this weekend's action, the Mountain Hawks round out the regular season at home against Lafayette (Oct. 23) and Holy Cross (Oct. 30), respectively. The second annual Lehigh-Lafayette alumni game will be played at 9 a.m. before the game on the 23rd.
