Rich Haas becomes Lehigh’s new Director of Ticket Sales & Event Marketing. In the new role, he will oversee the entire ticketing operation – including group sales – as well as the department’s event marketing and event promotions efforts. Haas has previously served as Lehigh’s Director of Ticket Operations for the last four years. A 2000 graduate of Lehigh, Haas was a student employee in the ticket office during his undergraduate tenure.
Julie Oltman will now serve as the Director of Sports Camps & Emerging Technologies. Oltman, a former women’s soccer coach at Lehigh, has spent the past three years in charge of Lehigh’s million-dollar summer camp operation. Oltman’s expanded duties will include the oversight of the Lehigh Athletics web site, in addition to keeping the department one step ahead of other technology advances.
Tyler Osler begins his eleventh season in the Lehigh Athletics department. Osler is now Lehigh’s Director of Equipment & Merchandising Operations. In his prior role, Osler was responsible for all aspects related to student-athlete equipment, as well as generating revenue for the department through laundry services. In addition to those duties, Osler will now add athletics merchandising and licensing efforts to his job description.
Jeff Tourial is Lehigh’s first Director of Broadcasting & Multimedia. Tourial has worked in the media relations office for four years, including serving as director for the last three. In his new role, Tourial will oversee all aspects of Lehigh’s highly-respected television, radio, and Internet broadcast area. He will also manage the implementation of a comprehensive archival database, chronicling the rich history of Lehigh Athletics.
Lehigh’s search for a new Sports Media Relations Director will begin immediately, with Tourial maintaining those responsibilities until a successor is appointed.
