Full slate of exciting action set for this weekend

The first event of the day on Saturday is the 2004 Patriot League Cross Country Championships to be held in Lewisburg on the campus of Bucknell University. The women’s race gets underway at
The Lehigh men are ranked in the top-ten in the Mid-Atlantic Region and have already defeated several Patriot League teams in head to head competition in 2004. The Mountain Hawks have their eye on the top spot on Saturday and will need a great race from everyone, including sophomore Victor Vientos, seniors Sam Kirk, Alex Hudgins and Mark Swanson and junior Rob Hampson to accomplish their goal. American and Navy will be the top challengers on the men’s side for Lehigh.
The Mountain Hawk women will look to sophomore Jen Schappert to lead them, as she has done so in each race thus far. Schappert has a very good chance to be an All-Patriot League selection, and will team up with senior Deanna Willard to form a potent one-two punch. American and Army figure to give teams in the Patriot League the biggest challenge on Saturday.
