Athletics Partnership hosts annual Golf & Tennis Classic

Some of Lehigh’s own athletics staff teed off on the links, including head baseball coach Sean Leary, head swimming and diving coach Rob Herb, and Lehigh’s Director of Fitness and Recreation, Doug Strange.
Pat Lanigan captured the individual low gross prize with a score of 79. Bob Plunkett ‘76 and his team of John McCormick, Bill Valeich, and Lanigan took first place team gross honors with a score of 73. Marty Horn ‘86 and Michael Shay ‘72 won “Closest to the Pin” honors on holes 5 and 14, respectively.
The Athletics Partnership would like to thank all those who participated in making the day a success, including this year’s event, hole, and coach sponsors. Also, a special thanks to the Bachman Company (Joe Welch ’56 and Scott Carpenter ’86) for providing snacks.
