Men's hoops clinches a share of first ever league title

The Lehigh men's basketball team has claimed a share of its first-ever Patriot League Championship and with a win on Sunday at Holy Cross, the Mountain Hawks will win the title outright. Lehigh currently sits at 10-3 in the Patriot League and with a win over the Crusaders on Sunday will record the most victories ever in league action. Head Coach Billy Taylor, in just his second season, has turned the Mountain Hawks totally around, but still looks at everything in perspective. “We still have not accomplished all of our goals. It’s great to be where we are at, but we must remain humble and continue to work towards our other goal, which is to make it to the NCAA Tournament.”

After Sunday’s game, Lehigh will travel to Upper Marlboro, MD, to compete in the Patriot League Tournament. The top-seeded Mountain Hawks first round game will be against eighth seeded Navy on Saturday afternoon.
