Fall sports banquets held to honor seasons' achievements

Bethlehem, PA – The fall sports teams at Lehigh recently held their postseason awards banquets, honoring the excellence of their student-athletes both on the field and off. The falls sports at Lehigh included football, volleyball, field hockey, and men’s and women’s soccer and cross country. Each team used the banquet as a chance to honor the efforts of both individual players as well as the successes of the teams.
Each team gave out three awards. The Scholar-Athlete award goes to the student-athlete who in the eyes of his/her teammates exemplifies the ideal of the scholar-athlete. The Team MVP award was presented to the team member who made the most outstanding athletic contribution to the accomplishments of the team. Finally, the Coaches award was presented to the individual who made significant contributions to the well being of the team in terms of attitude, improvement, or special leadership.
