Lehigh finishes up competition in New York

MARAMACK, N.Y. – Lehigh finished up competition at the Columbia Invitational on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks finished 12th out of 14 competing schools with a three-round total of 1070 (365, 356, 349).  Livia Amado led Lehigh with a score of 255 (87, 85, 83), finishing in a tie for 33rd place, while Jen Nagel tied for 47th place with a total score of 264 (87, 91, 86).  BYU won the overall team championship with a score of 942 (324, 314, 304) and was followed by Harvard (965), Yale (988), Wofford (996) and Georgetown (997).

 

Ana Nam tied for 55th place overall as she shot a 267 (93, 88, 86), while Caroline Boyer placed 69th with a 284 (98, 92, 94).  Amado’s third round score of 83 was Lehigh’s lowest individual round of the weekend.

 

Brigham Young’s Natalia Jimenez won the individual crown with a three-round total of 229 (77, 76, 76) as she edged out teammate J. WightmanErekson who shot a 233 (82, 76, 75).  Princeton’s Susannan Aboff took third place with a 234 (81, 77, 76).

 

Lehigh is back in action on Sunday, April 20 when the Mountain Hawks compete at the Kutztown Invitational.  The tournament runs through the 21st.
