BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh attempts to snap its first two-game losing streak of the season on Monday evening as the Mountain Hawks play host to the Albany Great Danes at Stabler Arena.  An undermanned Lehigh team fell at Stony Brook on Friday evening 71-50 in a game in which the Mountain Hawks led by nine with 14 minutes remaining before the Seawolves unleashed a 22-4 run and handed the Brown and White its first road loss of the season.  Marquis Hall (13) and Rob Keefer (10) both reached double figures versus Stony Brook, while Zahir Carrington registered his second double-digit rebounding effort of the year with 13 boards.  Albany comes into the game having lost to a tough Siena squad on Saturday evening 71-64, which snapped the Great Danes five-game win streak.  Four Albany players reached double figures in the contest, led by Tim Ambrose’s 15-point, nine-rebound performance.

Seniors John Gourlay and Matt Szalachowski both received surprise starts at Stony Brook due to injuries to regular starters Phil Anderson and Dave Buchberger.  Gourlay responded with a season-high seven rebounds in 14 minutes, while Szalachowski scored four points on two-of-two shooting, to go along with three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

In its five wins, Lehigh has shot 45-percent from the field, 42-percent from three-point range and 72-percent from the free throw line, while in the Mountain Hawks three losses, they have hit on only 38-percent from the field, 28-percent from beyond the arc and 62-percent at the charity stripe.

Monday’s game tips off at 7:05 from Stabler Arena.  Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 610-7LU-GAME, by visiting the Lehigh Athletics Ticket Office, located in Grace Hall, or by logging onto Lehighsports.com.
