BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh travels to Stony Brook on Friday evening as the Mountain Hawks look to shake off Tuesday night’s loss to St. Joseph’s and extend their road winning streak to four games.  Lehigh was led on Tuesday by junior Marquis Hall, who scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds and handed out seven assists.  He was joined in double figures by classmate Zahir Carrington (13) and sophomores Prentice Small (12) and Rob Keefer (10), but it wasn’t enough as the Brown and White saw its three-game win streak come to an end.  Stony Brook comes into Friday’s contest having won its last two games, including a 60-39 victory at NJIT on Tuesday in New Jersey in which freshman Bryan Dougher tossed in a career-high 24 points.  That win pulled the Seawolves even at 3-3 on the season.  Stony Brook has won just once at home this season, but its two losses at Pritchard Gymnasium were by a combined six points.

The Mountain Hawks enter Friday’s game sporting a +4.3 rebound margin, having out rebounded their opponents by 26 total boards (189 to 163).  As a team, Lehigh has pulled down at least 35 rebounds in six of seven games, while individually at least one player has grabbed seven or more boards in all seven games.

After ranking last in the Patriot League a season ago in three-point field goal percentage defense (40%), the Mountain Hawks have nearly reversed that trend during the early going of this season.  Lehigh currently ranks second in the league in three-point defense, forcing teams into a 29.5% showing.

Friday’s game tips off at 7:00 from Pritchard Gymnasium in New York.  The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 as well as Lehighsports.com with Matt Kerr providing the commentary.  Pre-game coverage gets underway at 6:30.
