Lehigh to host Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 15

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - To coincide with Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Lehigh Athletics would like to encourage all Veterans, active military personnel and their families to join us for Military Appreciation Day at Goodman Stadium, as the Mountain Hawks host Bucknell in the 2008 home finale on Saturday, November 15.
Veterans, active personnel and their family members may purchase general admission tickets for only $5 per person. Call the Lehigh Athletic Ticket Office at 610-7LU-GAME in advance. Simply state that you are a veteran or active member of one of the military branches. Tickets will also be available at Goodman Stadium on game day.
For the second-straight season, Lehigh is working in cooperation with the Wounded Warrior Project and will honor two servicemen who were injured in Iraq while protecting our Freedom. U.S. Army Specialist Angel (Manny) Pina of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania and U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Jonathan Berceli of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will be honorary captains for the game and will join the Lehigh captains on the field for the coin toss.
Lehigh and Bucknell will get things started on Saturday at 12:30 from Goodman Stadium.
