Mountain Hawks take seventh at Princeton Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. – Lehigh competed in the Princeton Invitational this weekend and the Mountain Hawks finished seventh in the 15-school field as they shot a 647 (327, 320), led by senior captain Yvonne Kukora’s two-round score of 156 (71, 79).  Princeton won the team crown as the Tigers shot a 614 (301, 313), while Columbia (625), Harvard (632), Georgetown (632) and Yale (635) took the next four spots.  Princeton’s Susannah Aboff won the individual title as she shot a 150 (71, 79) over the course of the two-day tournament.

 

Other Mountain Hawks that competed throughout the weekend were Livia Amado who finished in a tie for 26th place with a score of 162 (84, 78), Ana Nam who tied for 30th place (81, 83 = 164), Allison Juster who shot a 165 (83, 82) to finish in a tie for 35th place and Jen Nagel who shot a 176 (87, 89) and finished in a tie for 63rd place.  Kelly Fitzgerald competed as an unattached entry and shot a 165 (83, 82) to also finish in a tie for 35th place.

 

Lehigh returns to action on September 29 when the Mountain Hawks travel to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the Yale Invitational.
