LEWISBURG, Pa. – Lehigh continued with its fall season this weekend as the Mountain Hawks competed in the Bucknell Fall Invite and finished seventh out of 15 schools in attendance with a score of 900 (293, 296, 311). Junior Shane Gilroy finished in a tie for 15th place as he shot a three-round score of 222 (69, 74, 79). Teammate Will Robinson finished in a tie for 19th place with a score of 223 (73, 71, 79). Robinson had the first hole in one of his career when he sank the 170-yard number-13 hole in one shot. Bucknell won the team crown as the Bison shot an 867 (279, 286, 302), led by overall winner Stuart Lindgren who finished play with a three-round score of 211 (69, 70, 72).
Other Mountain Hawks who competed throughout the weekend were Duncan Zeiders (T-30 = 227), Eric Cogorno (T-57 = 235) and Steve Suarez (T-61 = 236). Behind Bucknell in the team standings was Temple (876), Rider (883), Bucknell Blue (884) and Rovert Morris (888).
Lehigh returns to action on September 29 when the Mountain Hawks travel to Ithaca, New York to compete in the Cornell Invitational.
