Mountain Hawks finish up at Cornell Fall Invite

ITHACA, N.Y. – Lehigh headed to New York this weekend to compete in the Cornell Fall Invitational and the Mountain Hawks finished 12th out of the 16 schools in attendance with a score of 920 (317, 294, 309).  Will Robinson led the way for the Brown and White as he shot a three-round score of 225 (74, 74, 77), while teammate Steve Suarez was right behind him as he tied for 25th place with a score of 226 (81, 70, 75).  St. Bonaventure claimed the team title as the Bonnies shot an 878 (288, 295, 295), while Dan Abbondandolo of Siena was the individual champion with a 212 (70, 73, 69). 

 

Other Mountain Hawks that competed throughout the weekend were Shane Gilroy who shot a 233 (80, 75, 78) and finished in a tie for 46th place, Duncan Zeiders who finished in 68th place with a 240 (86, 75, 79) and Dylan Evans who placed 74th and shot a 244 (82, 78, 84).

 

Lehigh will return to the links on October 6 when the Mountain Hawks head to New Haven, Connecticut to compete in the Yale Invitational.
