Mountain Hawks open fall season at Colgate Invite

HAMILTON, N.Y. – Lehigh opened its 2007 fall season this past weekend as the Mountain Hawks placed eighth at the Colgate Invitational at Seven Oaks Golf Course. The Brown and White shot a two-day score of 629 (312, 317) led by Eric Cogorno (76, 78 = 154) and Steve Suarez (77, 77 = 154) who both placed in a tie for 15th place overall. Colgate won the event with a two-round score of 597 (297, 300), while the Raiders’ Ricky Hayes won the event with a score of 140 (69, 71).
Other Mountain Hawks that competed throughout the weekend were Shane Gilroy who finished in a tie for 29th place with a score of 157 (78, 79), Eric Feather who finished in a tie for 52nd place with a 164 (81, 83) and Chad Lubart who shot a 166 (81, 85) to finish in a tie for 62nd place.
