Mountain Hawks place fourth at Lehigh Invite

Other Mountain Hawks that competed on Lehigh’s A team were Jen Nagel who shot a 168 (88, 80) and finished in a tie for 14th place, Yvonne Kukora who finished in a tie for 25th place with a two-day total of 173 (94, 79), Allison Juster who shot a 176 (97, 79) and finished in 31st place and Kelly Fitzgerald who placed 35th after shooting a 187 (92, 95).
Four Mountain Hawks competed as past of Lehigh’s B Team, including Ana Nam who shot a 168 (86, 82) to finish in a tie for 14th place overall, Emily Endres who placed 32nd with a score of 181 (92, 89), Caroline Boyer who shot a 184 (97, 87) to finish 34th and Allison Webb who took 39th place with a two-day total of 211 (113, 98).
Amado fought off blustery conditions on Saturday afternoon to lead the entire field with a round of 80 on the 72-par course, while on Sunday, Kukora, Juster and Nagel all improved their scores by at least eight strokes, with Juster making the biggest jump, dropping 18 strokes off her scores. By virtue of those second-day scores, Lehigh shot a 325 on Sunday, which was second to only Harvard, which shot a 313. Harvard’s Claire Sheldon was the tournament’s individual champion as she shot a 155 (82, 73), while her teammate Ali Bode placed second with a score of 162 (82, 80).
