Gilbert continued his dominance in the backstroke events, taking the 100 in 52 seconds flat and the 200 in 1:55.65. He added a first place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 52.60.
As strong as Gilbert has been in the backstroke events, Johnson has been equally impressive in the sprints, with wins Saturday in the 50 (21.10), 100 (46.84) and 200 (1:44.43) yard freestyle events
Johnson and Gilbert teamed with senior Sean English and junior Jonathan Kearney to take the 400 medley relay in 3:27.82.
McGrath’s two individual wins came in the 200 breast and the 400 IM, while junior Clark Cohen once again swept the one and three-meter diving events.
On the women’s side, sophomore Melanie Rolish swept the breaststroke events for the second straight week, securing a time of 1:06.88 in the 100 and 2:24.67 in the 200.
Freshman Allison Rolish won the 100 free with a time of 10:30.97 and also took third in the 500 free. Senior Julie Mitchell won the 200 back, touching the wall in 2:09.45.
Lehigh will return to the pool for its final dual meet of the season on Saturday, February 3, as the Mountain Hawks visit La Salle in a meet that gets underway at noon from
