CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Lehigh posted a 310 team score and finished in eighth place at the 21-team Lafayette Invitational on Sunday. Junior Alan Borowsky led the way for the Brown and White, finishing in a tie for third overall. The event was scheduled for two days, but was shortened to 18 holes following heavy rain and snow at the Center Valley Club on Saturday.
Senior Jason Moloney (78), sophomore Will Robinson (78), freshman Jon Abramson (81), and junior Max Muller (83) also took part in the event.
Siena (300) won the team title by three strokes over second place St. Francis (Pa.). Individually, Drew Ellis of Duquesne shot a 71 to capture medalist honors.
The Mountain Hawks return to the links on Friday, when Lehigh takes part in the Navy Spring Invitational in Annapolis, Md.
