ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Lehigh senior Jason Moloney shot an eight-over par 150 to lead the Mountain Hawks at the Navy Spring Invitational. The host Midshipmen won the two-day event, held at the par 71 Navy Golf Course, with a team score of 582. Lehigh (615) finished 13th overall.

Moloney shot a 76 on Friday, and a 74 on Saturday to pace the Mountain Hawks. He finished in a tie for 30th place overall. Junior Alan Borowsky shot a 78 on Friday and a 76 on Saturday to finish with a 154. Freshman Will Robinson was one stroke in back of Borowsky. Robinson (78-77) shot a 155. Classmates Jon Abramson (76-80-156) and Greg Feldman (89-84-173) also competed for Lehigh.

Navy’s Eric Schoen captured individual medalist honors by shooting a three-under par 139.

The Navy Spring Invitational served as a tune-up for next weekend’s Patriot League championships, which will also be held in Annapolis, and hosted by Navy. The league championships will take place on April 22-23.

First up, however, Lehigh returns to the links on Tuesday, when the Mountain Hawks take part in the Lehigh Valley Invitational at Northampton Country Club.
