Wednesday's Lehigh-Rider game postponed

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh’s field hockey game against Rider scheduled for Wednesday night, has been postponed due to lightning. No make-up date has been announced. About ten minutes before scheduled start time, lightning was spotted and the field was cleared. Thunderstorms featuring lightning and heavy rain followed, forcing the postponement of the contest.

The Mountain Hawks will return to the turf on Saturday when they play host to arch rival Lafayette. Game time is set for 1:00 from the Ulrich Sports Complex. The game will be broadcast online at lehighsports.com with streaming audio and video powered by Yahoo! Sports.
