Other award winners included senior wrestler Jon Trenge and senior softball player Emily Ling. Trenge, who was named the Graduating Male Athlete of the Year, was a three-time All-American and a three-time EIWA champion for the Mountain Hawks. He will graduate from Lehigh as the career leader in dual wins and dual points and is second all-time in bonus wins. Trenge also won the prestigious Midlands Championship twice.
Ling was honored as the Graduating Female Athlete of the Year, and will graduate as arguably the greatest pitcher in Lehigh softball history. Ling twice earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Year honors and helped lead the team to four Patriot League regular season titles during her career. Ling has already established new Lehigh and Patriot League records for career win and strikeouts, among other marks, and was an All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection in 2004.
