On the women’s side, junior Tracie Fails raced to a 13th place finish in the 800-meter dash with a time of 2:25.52, and she followed that up with a 12th place finish in the 1500-meter run, crossing the finish line in a time of 5:00.15. Senior Khayla Lowe raced her way to a fourth place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing in a time of 15.26. Nicole Montegary placed third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.16, while the Lehigh relay teams in the 4x100 and 4x400 placed third and first respectively, with the 4x4 team coming in with a time of 4:07.91.
In the high jump event, Lauren Edwards cleared 5’3” to take fourth place, and Lowe leaped 16’3” in the long jump, placing her in eighth place in that event. Lindsay Hinsch and Lowe tied for sixth place in the triple jump, as both women recorded jumps of 34’7”, while in the heptathlon, junior K.T. Hessler recorded 3995 points, placing her in seventh place.
On the men’s side of things, senior Lavar Pope came in 15th place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.33 seconds, while David Falk placed 18th in the 200-meter dash, crossing in a time of 22.98 seconds. Sophomore Brian Ahearn took tenth place in the 800-meter dash and he was joined by his brother Kevin who took 17th in the same event.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Greg Horn placed second, with a time of 55.64 seconds, and in the 3000-meter steeplechase, Sean Swift was right on Rosinski’s tail, crossing the finish line in a time of 9:37.12. The 4x400-meter relay team placed fourth for the Brown and White, recording a time of 3:26.09, and in the shot put, senior captain Nick Maiorino placed 15th, as he recorded a throw of 42’1” and he backed that up with a 132’2” toss of the hammer, placing him in 12th place in that event. Craig Percopo place fifth in the decathlon, as the junior tallied 5585 points on the day.
