Lehigh finishes strong, comes in fifth at Hartford Invite

West Hartford, CT – Lehigh shot a 706 at the two-day Hartford Women’s Invitational to finish in fifth place on Tuesday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks finished behind St. John’s , the University of Hartford , Siena and Long Island University , with Caitlin Munroe of Hofstra winning the overall crown with a two-day total of 164. Lehigh’s top finisher was freshman Alison Webb, who shot an 81 on Monday and followed that up with an 86 on Tuesday, good for a two-day total of 167 and a tie for fourth place.
Lehigh’s other finishers were Yvonne Kukora, who tied for fourth place with a two-day total of 168 (88, 80), Paige Cullen, who tied for 34th place with rounds of 91 and 92 (183) and Allison Juster, who came in a tie for 45th place after posting a round of 92 on Monday and 99 on Tuesday, good for a total of 191. Shauna Wilde of LIU took second place for the event with a two-day total of 165, while Jillian Blanchard of Siena was third with a 166, followed by Webb and Jennifer Rhee of St. John’s both coming in with a 167.
