BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two Lehigh football players have been honored for their outstanding performance on the gridiron last season.  It was announced on Monday that senior offensive linemen Adam Selmasska and Tom Toth have been named to the Football Gazette NCAA I-AA All-Northeast Region second and third teams, respectively.

Both Selmasska and Toth were members of the All-Patriot League first team, announced last month.  Selmasska, a 2005 captain, and Toth, led an offensive line that, despite its relative inexperience heading into the season, still helped propel the Lehigh offense to the top of the Patriot League charts in scoring offense, passing offense, and total offense.  Lehigh averaged 408 yards and over 36 points per game in 2005.

Lehigh finished the 2005 season ranked 25th in the final ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, posting an 8-3 overall record and a 4-2 mark against league opposition.  The Mountain Hawks are one of only two schools in Division I-AA (along with Montana) to have won eight or more games in each of the last eight seasons.
