Cardwell's play recognized by ECAC

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh senior defensive back Kaloma Cardwell has been named an honorable mention all-star by the ECAC, it was announced Tuesday.  Cardwell, a two-time captain, registered 69 tackles this year, He was a first team All-Patriot League selection after being a second team honoree in 2004. 

 

Cardwell was one of five Patriot League players honored by the ECAC for stellar play in 2005.  He finishes his standout career with 178 tackles.

 

Lehigh posted an 8-3 overall record and a 4-2 mark against league opposition in 2005.  The Mountain Hawks are one of only two schools in Division I-AA (along with Montana) to have won eight or more games in each of the last eight seasons.
