Mountain Hawks rise five spots in national polls

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh routed league rival Bucknell by a 42-10 score in Lewisburg on Saturday afternoon, and the pollsters took notice.  The Mountain Hawks moved up five spots in both the Sports Network and the ESPN/USA Today polls, released Monday afternoon.  In both polls, Lehigh climbed from No. 21 to No. 16 following Saturday’s win.

 

Lehigh (5-2 overall, 1-1 Patriot League) returns to the gridiron on Saturday, October 29, when the Mountain Hawks travel to Colgate (5-2, 2-0 PL) to take on the Raiders.  Kick-off is set for just after 1:00 from Hamilton, N.Y., and all the action can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320, as well as on lehighsports.com.  WFMZ-TV, FSN Pittsburgh, and FCS Atlantic will all televise the game live.
