BETHLEHEM, Pa. - In a game with huge postseason implications, Lehigh welcomes Colgate, who it is tied with in the Patriot League, to the Ulrich Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.  The Mountain Hawks will also pay tribute to their seniors prior to the game, honoring the Lehigh Field Hockey Class of 2005.  Lehigh is coming off of a tough 4-3 loss versus Rider on Wednesday evening at home.  The Brown and White found themselves down by a 4-1 count, but continued to fight back, slicing the lead to just one with 1:28 remaining.  Unfortunately, Lehigh could not complete the comeback and fell in its first home game since September 21.  All three Mountain Hawk goals were scored by seniors on Wednesday, as Mary Beth Kuenne, Melissa Fricke and Maureen Harrington each found the back of the cage.

For the season, Kuenne leads the team with seven goals, while fellow senior Marissa Iannarone is the team leader in both assists with eight and points with 18.  Harrington has added nine points, while junior Kelsey Smith and Fricke have totaled five and four points respectively this season.  Senior tri-captain Meghan Gove returns to the field here this afternoon, as the Maine native sat out the last two contests with an injury.  Gove leads the Patriot League in shut outs with two and is second in saves with 126.  She has logged over 927 minutes in the cage, while junior Stephanie Palmieri, who started each of the games Gove sat out, has recorded 16 saves.

Colgate arrives in Bethlehem following a 4-3 loss at Cornell on Tuesday in Ithaca, N.Y.  The Raiders, who are 0-6 on the road this year, have lost seven of their previous eight games overall, with the lone win coming over Lafayette, 3-2 in double overtime.  Dana Shaner leads the team with 12 goals and 27 points.  She is the lone Raider to have scored double digit goals this year.  Laura Flisnik (11), Lauren Remkus (11) and Lauren Carey (10) have all contributed double digit points.  In goal for Colgate, Jacque DeMarco has played over 975 minutes, recording 96 saves and posting one shut out.

The winner of Saturday’s game will at worst, be in fourth place in the Patriot League, with one league game remaining next weekend for each squad.  Lehigh is 1-1 on Senior Day under head coach Julie Mazer, having defeated archrival Lafayette 4-2 last year.

Saturday’s game, which is slated to begin at 1:00, will be broadcast live on lehighsports.com with streaming video and audio provided by Yahoo! Sports.  Steve Lomangino will provide the commentary.
