Lehigh drops physical game to Oklahoma State

Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh lost a tough physical game to The Cowgirls got on the board in the final minute of the first half as Adriane Radke’s shot from just outside the penalty area sailed over the outstretched arms of Erin Iwaskiewicz. The Mountain Hawks pulled even in the 51st minute when sophomore Lauren Calabrese buried Daniela Molina’s centering pass in the back of the net. Despite the loss coach Manny Oudin was pleased with the effort. “I thought we battled hard,” Oudin said. “I know the girls are disappointed with the result, but it’s part of the growth of this team. Oudin praised his team’s intensity and the fact they were able to match the Cowgirls’ physical play. He says the team needs to start taking advantage of opportunities they’re given. “We’re not capitalizing on other teams mistakes,” Oudin said. “We have to start doing so.” The Mountain Hawks return to action Tuesday night when they host Saint Josephs. Game time set for
