Mountain Hawks set for Patriot League play

Smith was rewarded for her efforts as she was named the Patriot League Freshman of the Week, the second Mountain Hawk this season to receive that honor, along with Katie Noon. Lehigh’s offense has already scored more goals than a year ago, including a nine-goal outburst versus Robert Morris on September 11. Leading the way on offense is Clabby with six goals and 13 points, while On the defensive side of things, the Mountain Hawks are allowing only 1.92 goals per game, led by the duo of senior Jeanine Hoff and junior Meghan Gove in goal. Head Coach Julie Mazer is excited to get back on the field after the week-plus long layoff. “The team is looking forward to Patriot League play. They have been working very hard through the spring, into the summer and now through the beginning of this year.” Mazer continues, “We feel as though we can be competitive with anyone in the league and we just want to walk off of that field on Saturday knowing that we played our best game.” Lehigh will be looking to win its first Patriot League game since The game versus Holy Cross is scheduled to begin at
