Rodney leads Lehigh at Cornell Invitational

Itahca, NY – Junior Ben Rodney shot a six-over par 222 over two days to lead Lehigh at the Cornell Fall Invitational, held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Rodney’s effort was good for a 12th place tie overall. As a team, Lehigh shot a 918 to finish in a tenth place tie in the 16 team field. Rider won the event with an 879.
Rodney’s effort (75-70-77-222) was his best yet at Lehigh. Sophomore Alan Borowsky finished four strokes in back of Rodney (76-75-75-226), in a tie for 23rd place. Other Mountain Hawks competing were junior Jason Moloney (76-73-81-230), senior John Jaravata (78-79-83-240), and junior Kevin Frost (89-84-86-259). Rider’s Josh Krumholz captured medalist honors with an eight-under par 208 for the tournament.
The Mountain Hawks will return to the links on Monday, October 4, as Lehigh participates in the William & Mary Invitational.
