Philadelphia, PA – Lehigh finished the season unbeaten in EIWA matches for the second straight year, routing the University of Pennsylvania 24-9 on Sunday afternoon at the famed Palestra. The Mountain Hawks got victories in seven of the ten bouts as they set a new Lehigh record with their 21st dual match victory on the year, improving to 21-4 (7-0). Penn fells to 8-9 with the loss.
Troy Letters and Brad Dillon got back on the winning track, as each recorded major decisions in their first matches since losing at Oklahoma State. Other winners for the Mountain Hawks included Matt Ciasulli at 133, Cory Cooperman at 141, Matt Anderson at 149, Derek Zinck at 157, and Travis Frick at 184.
Lehigh returns to the mat later this afternoon with a match with Drexel at 5:00 pm.
