Mountain Hawk women third at Lehigh Quad

Bethlehem, PA – For the second time in less than a week, Lehigh took to the course against Kutztown, McDaniel, and Mt. St. Mary's. However, unlike Friday when the Mountain Hawks won the Kutztown Fall Invitational, this time, Lehigh didn't fare as well. The Mountain Hawks shot a 359 as a team to finish 15 strokes in back of McDaniel at the Lehigh Quad on Thursday afternoon at Saucon Valley Country Club.
Lehigh was led by freshman Kassia Nelson, whose 85 on the day was good for fourth place overall. Sophomore Lauren Barton shot an 87 to finish sixth. Senior captain Danielle Kochenour posted a 90 to finish 12th. Sophomores Ashley Fitzgerald (97) and Sarah March (98) rounded out the Lehigh scoring. For the second consecutive outing, McDaniel's Kelly Cramp took home top individual honors, as she posted a score of 77.
Lehigh returns to the links on Wednesday, when the Mountain Hawks take part in the Mt. St. Mary's Invitational.
