Lehigh men finish fifth at Bucknell Invitational

Lewisburg, PA – Freshman Alan Borowsky shot a six-over par 146 to lead Lehigh to a fifth place finish at the Bucknell Invitational. The Mountain Hawks shot a 603 over the two-day event, 19 strokes behind host Bucknell, who captured first place in the event, held at the Bucknell University Golf Course.
Borowsky shot a 74-72 over the two days to pace Lehigh, as he finished in eighth place overall. Teammates Patrick McCahill (77-76) and Will Weihenmayer (74-79) each shot a 153. Senior co-captain Drew LaVine rounded out the Mountain Hawks scoring, with a two-day total of 154, 14 strokes over par. Mount St. Marys' Andrew Hill captured top individual honors by posting two scores of 69, one under par each day.
Lehigh returns to the links on Saturday, September 20, when the Mountain Hawks take part in the James Madison Invitational in Virginia.
