Borowsky paces Mountain Hawk men at JMU

Harrisonburg, VA – Freshman Alan Borowsky shot a five-over par 218 to lead Lehigh at the James Madison Invitational at Lakeview Golf Course on Sunday and Monday. Overall, the Mountain Hawks shot an 884 over the 54 holes to finish 13th. Georgetown took the top spot with a score of 846.
      Borowsky shot a 71-72-75 over the two days to pace Lehigh, as he finished in a tie for 29th place overall. Fellow newcomer Will Weihenmayer finished three strokes back on Borowsky, with a total of 221. Senior co-captain Drew LaVine was consistent (74-75-73), as he posted a 222 overall. Nam Kyu-Park rounded out the Lehigh scoring, finishing just one stroke behind LaVine with a 223. Rutgers' Brent Pittman took home top individual honors, as his 204 was nine strokes under par over the 54 holes.
      Lehigh returns to the links on Sunday, when the Mountain Hawks take part in the Cornell Invitational.
