Lehigh looks to keep its playoff hopes alive as the Mountain Hawks visit Bucknell in a Patriot League showdown. Last week’s loss at No. 10 Colgate has Lehigh a game behind the Raiders in the league standings with two games remaining. Meanwhile, Bucknell has dropped two of its last three league games after the Bison won their first two Patriot League games. Last time out, Lehigh (6-3 overall, 4-1 Patriot) dropped a 17-10 contest at tenth ranked Colgate, despite stellar play from the Lehigh defense. The Mountain Hawks held the potent Raiders attack to 90 yards below its per-game average. Colgate had averaged 50 points in each of its prior three contests. Meanwhile, Bucknell returns to Lewisburg after dropping a 35-17 decision at Lafayette last weekend. The Bison enter Saturday’s contest with a 3-2 Patriot League record, one game in back of Lehigh. Lehigh leads the all-time series between these two schools, 34-29-3. The Mountain Hawks have captured the last five games, including a 24-0 blanking of the Bison a year ago. Saturday’s game kicks off at 1:00 from Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg. The game can be heard live in the Lehigh Valley on Oldies 1470 and worldwide on Lehigh’s web site at Lehighsports.com.
