Why Lehigh?: “ The coaches are excellent salesmen. They really made Lehigh seem like the right place for wrestling and academics. Their sales pitch got me here and seeing everything first hand has kept me here.”
In 2004-05: deferred eligibility, amassed impressive 17-5 record wrestling unattached in open tournaments…5-0 en route to Wilkes Open Championship at 149… placed seventh at East Stroudsburg Open, two places behind teammate Dave Nakasone… also competed at the West Virginia (1-2), Trenton State (2-0) and Penn State (4-2) Opens…also wrestled at the FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas, where he went 4-2 but failed to place.
In secondary school: Two-time
Personal: Son of Dennis and Cheryl Chinn… brother Theron (21)…hobbies include soccer, ping pong and golf
