My uncle, an alumnus here at Lehigh, was also an influence.” In 2008-09: Went 1-4 in open tournament action… picked up major decision victory at Nittany Lion Open. In 2007-08: Posted 1-4 mark competing at In 2006-07: Competed at East Stroudsburg and In secondary school: Three year captain of the wrestling team… voted most outstanding wrestler in his district… earned total of nine varsity letters, competing in wrestling, soccer and track and field… member of National Honor Society. Personal: Son of Robert and Nancy Buirkle… has two younger sisters, Corinne (19) and Julia (16)… enjoys soccer, wakeboarding, snowboarding and hiking.
