In 2002-03: Thrust into starting role in postseason due to an injury to Mario Stuart…placed third at EIWA Championships, including a pin of Lucas Magnani of Brown in the third place bout…spent much of the season backing up at 125 and 133...scored four straight falls at the Wilkes Open on his way to the title at 125...picked up three falls at the EIWA’s…Reached NCAA “Round of 12”, one win shy of All-American finish.
In 2001-02: Deferred his eligibility… finished fourth at the Junior World Championships and fourth at the University Nationals in the spring wrestling for the Lehigh Wrestling Club… placed first at the East Stroudsburg Open.
In 2000-01: A late signee in Spring of 2000, Terrance overcame his size (112 lbs. in high school) to prove his durability at two weights, wrestling 40 bouts (third most on the team) … won half despite fighting national competition … defeated two Top 25 wrestlers (Josh Moore of Penn State and George Cintron of North Carolina State) … first on the team in technical falls (3) … second among Lehigh wrestlers in falls (7) … fourth on the team in total bonus point wins.
In secondary school: Accumulated a career record of 120-20 ... 42-4 as a senior ... the New Jersey state champion in 1999 at 103 lbs. ... placed fifth at 112 lbs. in 2000 ... ranked in the top two nationally by Amateur Wrestling News his senior year … placed sixth at 112 pounds in the National High School Championships.
Personal: Son of Gerard and Ida Clendenin … has one sister, Stephanie (15) … ran cross country while in high school … enjoys break dancing in his free time.
