In 2014-15: Began season at 165 before moving up to 174 after Southern Scuffle… went on to finish second at EIWA Championships… went 1-2 at NCAA Championships… finished with five falls… went 14-5 in matches at 174… posted two wins by fall in first weekend at 174, including first period pin of EIWA Champion Jadaen Bernstein of Navy… upset Ohio State’s Mark Martin in Lehigh’s upset win over Buckeyes… named to NWCA All-Academic Team.
Before Lehigh: began college career at NAIA Lindenwood before transferring to Central Florida, where he competed in the NCWA… amassed a 119-13 record at UCF with 52 falls… three-time conference champion… three-time NCWA national finalist, winning back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014… two-time Academic All-American… three-time Dean’s List student… won the 2011 UCF Open and 2011 Citadel Open… finished fourth in Greco-Roman at 2014 US Open.
In secondary school: two-time Florida place winner (fifth and third)… two time regional and district champion.
