In 2003-04: Filled in for starter Joe Sahl after he went down with an injury, then kept the spot by beating Sahl in a wrestle-off when he came back…performed well, despite starting the season as a 197 pounder…finished the season with a 19-15 record as a starter and placed sixth at EIWAs … reached quarterfinals of Junior World Team Trials
In 2002-03: Deferred eligibility, 4-3 in open tournaments… Finished 5th at the FILA World Junior Trials
In Secondary School: Two-time
Personal: Son of Paul and Cathy Weibel… has two younger siblings, sister Andrea and brother Jonathan… in addition to wrestling, Paul enjoys the outdoors – he has even hiked
