Why Lehigh? “Lehigh offers a high level education while also providing me the opportunity to compete at a high level for a prestigious wrestling program. It always felt comfortable and I knew it was where I wanted to be.”
In 2022-23: Moved up to 157 where he wrestled nine bouts… made dual appearances at Penn and Columbia… won two bouts at Princeton Open in early November… went 1-2 at Midlands Championships.
In 2021-22: Wrestled in three duals at 149… also competed at early-season Clarion Open, winning two bouts.
In 2020-21: Wrestled five bouts at 149… went 1-1 in dual competition… made dual debut against Binghamton on Jan. 30 and picked up major decision victory versus LIU the following day.
In 2019-20: Deferred eligibility… went 9-10 competing unattached in open tournaments… finished fifth at 149 at Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open… claimed sixth place at Wilkes Open… also competed at Princeton Open, Southern Scuffle and Mat Town Invitational II.
In high school: State champion… four-time state place winner… finished third, second, third and first in his four trips to the state tournament… posted 163-16 career record… three-time sectional champion and two-time Forsyth County Wrestler of the Year… holds the North Forsyth takedown record and is a member of the North Forsyth Wrestling Hall of Fame… NHSCA All-American as a sophomore… won state titles in Cadet freestyle and Greco-Roman and was a state champion in Junior Greco-Roman… earned All-America honors in Cadet Greco.
Personal: Son of Jeff and Lorelei… older brother James… older sister Hannah and younger sister Josephine.
