In secondary school: Three-time state place winner, won state title at 189 as a senior scoring a takedown in the last 30 seconds to win 3-2… 26-0 with 17 falls as a senior… 141-19 career mark with 94 pins… suffered injury during football season that kept him off the mats until January… ranked No. 1 at his weight class and 12th in the nation by InterMat… former cadet freestyle and Greco-Roman champion… boasts 3.75 grade point average in the classroom…four time recipient of PIAA Scholar-Athlete Award.
