Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh has always felt like home to me. I have been a part of the Lehigh environment from an early age. I always looked up to my coach Mike Frick and fellow Nazareth Graduates Travis Doto, Chris Vitale, Rob Rohn, and Travis Frick. Lehigh's strong wrestling, and academic traditions are second to none, and it is an honor to have the opportunity to carry on those traditions.”
In 2007-08: Deferred eligibility.
In secondary school: Placed third in the state at heavyweight as a junior… won District XI championship… regional runner up… two-time Nazareth Invitational Champion… Beast of the East runner-up… was ranked as No. 1 heavyweight in Pennsylvania before season-ending injury.
Personal: Son of John and Kathleen Mutch… sister Christine (Lehigh ’09), brothers Jim (Lehigh ’11) and Ian… enjoys golf, traveling and spending time with family.
