Why Lehigh: “I chose to attend Lehigh because living in the Midwest I always wanted to go to college on the East coast where my parents were from, my grandparents and aunt also live within driving distance of Lehigh which is an added bonus. Lehigh has a beautiful campus, and a reputation for being a great academic school, of course with historically one of the best wrestling programs in the country.”
In 2008-09: Competed in a back-up role at 133… made varsity dual debut with 13-10 setback against Franklin & Marshall… competed at East Stroudsburg and Nittany Lion Opens.
In 2007-08: Saw limited action competing in open tournaments.
In secondary school: Qualified for the state tournament as a senior and was ranked in the top-12 at his weight class within the state… graduated high school with a 4.0 grade point average.
Personal: Son of Karen Scheible and Tony Margherita… sister Anna (18)… enjoys the outdoors, movies, snowboarding and traveling.
