Why Lehigh?: “Lehigh was the best place for me in terms of academics and wrestling. Everything just seemed to fit nicely.”
In 2005-06: EIWA runner-up at 125 pounds… went 3-2 in first NCAA appearance… first true freshman NCAA qualifier for Greg Strobel and first at Lehigh since Rick Hepp in 1992… bounced back from several tough early season tests, going 14-6 after Jan. 1… valiantly outscored Brad Pataky of Penn State 13-9 to win first varsity dual one day after nasal surgery.
In Secondary School: 175-9 career record with 117 falls… broke 21 year old state record for career wins… second most falls in Pennsylvania history… 44-0 with 34 falls as a senior… two time state champion (125 in ’05, 119 in ’04)… placed third at 2004 junior national freestyle… took second in 2002 cadet freestyle… became eighth recruit in Lehigh history to win two Pennsylvania state championships.
Personal: Son of Walt and Kathy Fisk… older brother Josh wrestled at Lock Haven
